1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They can remember your choices or help a website owner understand how the site is used.
2.Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
pd-consent-v1 | Predefined (local storage) | Essential. Stores your cookie choice. | Until you clear it |
_ga | Google Analytics | Analytics. Distinguishes visitors. Only set if you accept. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Analytics. Keeps track of a visit (session). Only set if you accept. | Up to 2 years |
If you reject or withdraw analytics consent, Google Analytics isn’t loaded and we remove its cookies from your browser. Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
3.Other third parties
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address to deliver them. This doesn’t set cookies.
- WhatsApp: our “Quick chat” links open WhatsApp only when you click them. From then on, WhatsApp’s own policies apply.
4.Browser controls
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their privacy or security settings. Blocking essential storage means we can’t remember your choice, so we’ll ask again on your next visit.
