Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website or engage our data, AI and technology services.

Last updated: 8 November 2026

In short

  • Each project is defined by a written proposal. If it differs from these terms, the proposal applies.
  • You own your data, and on full payment you own the deliverables we build for you.
  • We never use your data to train or improve our own models or products.
  • Cloud, AI model and other third-party usage costs are separate from our fees.
  • AI and forecasting outputs can be wrong, so review them before acting on them.

1.About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Predefined.in, a sole proprietorship registered in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, which operates remotely from Bangalore, Karnataka, India (“Predefined”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you use our website and when you engage us for services.

By using the website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you’re accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to do so.

2.Using our website

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes.
  • Don’t try to disrupt it, access it without permission or misuse its forms.
  • Website content is for general information only and isn’t professional advice for your specific situation.
  • We may update, change or remove website content at any time.

3.Our services

We provide services across five areas: data engineering and integration, business intelligence and analytics, data science and predictive intelligence, artificial intelligence and business automation, and enterprise technology and cloud solutions.

The exact services, deliverables, timelines and fees for each engagement are set out in a written proposal or statement of work (“proposal”). If a proposal conflicts with these terms, the proposal takes priority for that engagement.

4.Proposals, scope & changes

  • Each proposal defines the scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, number of revisions and any support period.
  • Work outside the agreed scope is a change request. We’ll quote it separately before starting, and it’s billed separately.
  • Timelines depend on timely access, information and feedback from you.

5.Fees & payment

  • Fees are as stated in the proposal. Unless the proposal says otherwise, project fees are payable 40% on confirmation, 30% on demo or an agreed milestone, and 30% on final acceptance.
  • Subscription or monthly services are billed as set out in the proposal.
  • GST and other applicable taxes are charged in addition to our fees.
  • Cloud infrastructure, AI model, API and other third-party usage costs are separate from our fees. They may be billed by us at cost or directly by the provider, as agreed in the proposal.
  • Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. If payment is overdue, we may pause work until it’s received.

6.Your responsibilities

  • Give us the access, information and feedback we need, when we need it.
  • Make sure you have the right to share any data or materials you provide to us.
  • Keep your own accounts, passwords and systems secure.
  • Review and test deliverables within the agreed acceptance period.

7.Your data & confidentiality

  • You own your data. We use it only to deliver the services you’ve engaged us for.
  • We never use your data to train or improve our own models, tools or products.
  • We keep your data and any confidential information you share private, and expect the same for confidential information we share with you.
  • At the end of an engagement, we return or delete your data on request, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.Intellectual property

  • Your deliverables: once you’ve paid in full, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you, such as code, configurations, dashboards, models and documentation, unless the proposal says otherwise.
  • Our tools and know-how: we keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, methods and general know-how. Where these are part of a deliverable, you get a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them as part of that deliverable.
  • Third-party components: open-source and third-party software remain under their own licences.
  • Website content: the content and branding on this website belong to Predefined.in and may not be copied without permission.

9.Third-party services

Our solutions may use third-party services such as cloud platforms, AI model providers and BI tools. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We’re not responsible for their outages, pricing changes or changes to their features, but we’ll help you work through any impact on your solution.

10.AI & analytical outputs

Forecasts, predictions, AI-generated content and other analytical outputs are based on probabilities and the data available. They can be incomplete or wrong. Please review them, especially before using them for important business, financial, legal or customer-facing decisions. You remain responsible for decisions made using these outputs.

11.Our commitment

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, and in line with the agreed proposal. Except as stated in these terms or a proposal, and to the extent permitted by law, we don’t give any other warranties. We don’t guarantee specific business results, such as revenue, savings or accuracy levels, unless agreed in writing.

12.Limitation of liability

  • We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.
  • Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.

13.Ending an engagement

Either party may end an engagement by written notice, as set out in the proposal. If an engagement ends early, you pay for work completed and costs committed up to the end date. Sections on confidentiality, intellectual property, liability and governing law continue to apply after an engagement ends.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. As our business is registered in Agra, the courts at Agra, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, even though we operate remotely from Bangalore. We’ll always try to resolve any concern through discussion first.

15.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Ongoing engagements continue under the terms agreed when they started, unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
